No. Fat Hide products are cosmetic moisturizers and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent eczema or any medical condition. They can help moisturize dry-feeling skin, but if you have eczema, open skin, infection, or ongoing irritation, please check with a healthcare professional.

Whipped Tallow Body Butter is soft, airy, and easy to spread over larger areas after a shower or before bed. Tallow Body Balm is firmer, more concentrated, and includes beeswax, making it great for targeted dry spots or when your skin needs a little extra protection.

A little goes a long way. Our whipped body butter includes arrowroot powder to help reduce a heavy greasy feel, while jojoba oil helps the product spread smoothly. Start with a pea-sized amount and add more only if needed.

Some people use tallow products on the face, but everyone’s skin is different. If you are acne-prone or sensitive, start with a tiny amount of the unscented option and patch test first. Avoid the eye area and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Choose Naked Fat if you want unscented. Vanilla Heifer is warm vanilla, Tropicow is coconut, Nectar & Tallow is golden honey, Calm the Herd is lavender and soft vanilla, and The Rancher is sandalwood. If you are sensitive to fragrance, Naked Fat is the safest place to start.

Our Tallow Lip Balm is made with beef tallow, beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and flavor. It is made to help lips feel soft, smooth, and moisturized without a heavy petroleum feel.

Our Tallow Deodorant is made with beef tallow, coconut oil, beeswax, arrowroot powder, magnesium hydroxide powder, and baking soda. If you are sensitive to baking soda, patch test before regular use.

Our Tallow Soap includes vegetable glycerin, sodium stearate, sodium myristate, sodium cocoate, coconut oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, purified water, goat milk, titanium dioxide, Germall Plus, shea butter, beef tallow, and fragrance.

Start small. For body butter, use a pea-sized amount per area and massage into clean skin. For balm, warm a small amount between your fingers before applying. Tallow products are rich, so using too much can make them feel heavier than intended.

For best feel, apply after a shower, bath, or hand washing while skin is still slightly damp. You can also use it before bed on dry spots so it has time to sink in overnight.

Our products are made with simple moisturizing ingredients, but children can have sensitive skin. Use the unscented option, patch test first, and ask a pediatrician if your child has eczema, allergies, broken skin, or a medical skin condition.

Because our products are made with natural butters, oils, waxes, and tallow, they can soften or melt if left in heat. If that happens, place the product somewhere cool and let it firm back up. Texture may change, but the product can still be used if it smells and looks normal.

Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, hot cars, and steamy bathrooms when possible. Always keep lids closed tightly and avoid introducing water into jars or tins.
